· Developed by Randy SalarsHelp in Grant County is a free directory run by the Silver City Gospel Mission. Here is what we collect and what we do with it, in plain words.
You don't need an account, and we don't ask who you are to search the directory, read a guide or print the phone list. We don't track you from page to page, and we don't use advertising or social media trackers.
To see which pages are most useful, we count page visits by page and by day. We don't record who visited, your address on the internet, or anything else about you. Visits from automated programs, like search engine robots, are counted separately.
Some pages have forms: volunteering, booking a Friday lunch or a resource table, partnering with us, adding or updating an organization's listing, suggesting a change to a guide, and letters of support. When you send one, we keep what you typed (such as your name, organization, email and phone) so we can reply to you about it.
The directory shows public information about places that offer help: names, phone numbers, hours, addresses and services. It comes from the organizations themselves, their public websites, and phone calls by our staff and volunteers. An organization can ask us to correct or remove its listing at any time.
The directory and the forms run on Salesforce, which keeps the information secure. Salesforce sets a few small cookies that the site needs to work; we don't add any of our own. Links to other organizations' websites take you to those sites, which have their own privacy rules.
The Español button shows the page through Google Translate, so Google sees the page you're reading (not anything about you that we keep). Google's privacy rules apply to that translation.
