Coming to the Mission at night or on a weekend when we're closed
Use when someone needs help after 1:45pm, at night, or on a Saturday or Sunday when the Mission is closed. Also good to hand out before the weekend.

These are the same steps our staff use when they help someone. "They" means the person who needs help: you, or someone you are helping. Go in order, and call ahead when you can.
1Know when the Mission is open
At the Gospel MissionThe Mission is open Mon-Fri 9:00am-1:45pm at 111 S. Texas St. The phone is 575-388-5071.
You can say"We are closed nights and weekends. Here is where you can go until we open again."
2Emergencies, any hour
Hurt, very sick, in danger, or someone is not breathing: call 911.
610 N. Silver St. (cul-de-sac at 7th St. and Gold, behind the public works yard), Silver City · Usually opens December 1, every night from 5:00 pm. May be open more of the year: SPIN reported 3,900 bed nights in one quarter of 2025. Call to check.
You can say"Come back Monday at 9. We will have breakfast and we can make a plan together."
At the Gospel MissionWeekday breakfast and lunch, showers and laundry (sign up 9:30-11:00), clothes, and a case worker.
