These are the same steps our staff use when they help someone. "They" means the person who needs help: you, or someone you are helping. Go in order, and call ahead when you can.
1Stay safe first
You do not have to open the door. You can talk through the door or a window.
Threats, a weapon, trying to get in, or refusing to leave: call 911.

At the Gospel MissionHelp with a meal, give to the food pantry, or bring your church, business or family to cook and serve a Friday lunch. Call the Mission at 575-388-5071.
At the Gospel MissionThe Mission's staff can sit down with anyone who wants help with ID, benefits, recovery or housing. Point them to 111 S. Texas St., weekdays 9:00am-1:45pm.
