1Keep it calm and private

Talk in a private spot. Share only with staff who need to know.
You can say"Thank you for telling me. Let's work out tonight and your registration."

2Find out their rules

You can ask"Are you on probation or parole? What did your officer say about where you can live?"
You can ask"When and where did you last register?"
Probation or parole may limit where they live, who they live with, and being near children. The officer decides.

3Register with the Grant County Sheriff

Homeless or no fixed address: they must register each address or place they stay with that county's sheriff no later than 5 business days after any change.
