These are the same steps our staff use when they help someone. "They" means the person who needs help: you, or someone you are helping. Go in order, and call ahead when you can.
1Find out what they need
You can ask"Are you missing teeth, or do you have dentures that broke, got lost or don't fit?"
You can ask"Do you have Medicaid, Medicare, VA care, or no insurance?"
You can ask"Does anything hurt right now, or is your face swollen?"
Swelling in the face or neck, fever, or trouble swallowing or breathing: go to the emergency room or call 911.
You can say"Missing teeth make it hard to eat, talk and find work. Let's find the lowest-cost way to get dentures."
2Start with a low-cost dental clinic
