Use when someone has kidney disease, is on dialysis or has been told they will need it, and needs a ride to treatment, help paying, kidney diet help or support.
These are the same steps our staff use when they help someone. "They" means the person who needs help: you, or someone you are helping. Go in order, and call ahead when you can.
Many people on dialysis can get Medicare at any age, based on their own or a family member's work history. The dialysis social worker can help them apply.
